Chick Fil

do the chick fil a registers tell you how much change the customers get back?
I’m about to start working at Chick fil a, I haven’t had my orientation yet, but I was wondering if the registers there tell you how much change the customers receive back. I suck at math, I mean I can figure it out, but I suck at doing to fast and under pressure. help!
Yes, modern registers do show the amount of change to be given back – PROVIDED that you properly enter in the amount tendered by the customer.
For example, say a customer has a total bill of $22.44 and hands you a $50 bill. You need to enter 50.00 as the amount tendered and the register will show the amount of change due = $27.56.
If you screw up and enter say $60 as the amount tendered, the till will say the change due is $37.56

Overall, it’s not that hard. Don’t stress about it. But DO be attentive when working the till – if the till comes up short too often, you might be out of a job.
