Is there an organisation that can help remove a CIFAS from your name?
A loans company is trying to ellicit an admission from me that I lied on my application so they can sidestep a dispute and just give me back the money I’ve paid for an insurance premium so that I don’t take them to court. I don’t know whether a verbal admnission is automatically going to get me a CIFAS mark or whether I have to sign something first. Either way, if it happens, is there any way to clear my name?
